Even when you die there's not something that allerts you (I remember this was especially annoying in ratchet Q4B) You have this fanfare going under and no matter what is happening on the screen doens't change the volume or the tune itself. Well, its seems like the guy responsible for the music in insomniac just ignored that simple formula. I think that's the ABC of the sound design of a game (or of a movie) that when SOMETHING is going to happen (like a new boss for instance) the mood of the music changes. The sound design of the ratchet and r2 are just wrong. I was going to post something about this very thing but I'd like to wait until I'll finish the game, but well since you mentioned it.(and sorry for my not perfect english) Make bosses more than bullet sponges =( This honestly felt waay more buggy than Tools. This one is mean, but hire better writers I guess? Sorry =/ well, shooting) but platforming holds it back IE: camera doesn't keep up and such To me, this is the best means of controlling Ratchet (if there's gonna be a continued emphasis on. During prerendered cinemas it's fine though.

I mean, there's something just a bit off and empty about the ingame sound mix. Go ape shit with the post processing effects.
#Ratchet & clank future a crack in time 720p#
Make the next entry native 720p at 30fps. I still have love for Insomniac and I guess the only things I could throw out there are: Everything was else was good, but not great. I think the greatest thing Crack had going for it was Clank's time puzzles. Overall, I can't help but feel Tools of Destruction left a stronger impression on me.
